Gift Aid Declaration to the Midland Railway Society
One of our most important sources of income is the Gift Aid that we receive from His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC). HMRC assume that your subscriptions and donations to the Society are paid out of your taxed income. HMRC therefore allow us to reclaim that tax from the Government. So, as long as you pay £5 in tax each year, you can allow us to reclaim that amount as Gift Aid. You will not have to pay any extra tax yourself.

I want to Gift Aid all subscriptions and donations I have made or will make to The Midland Railway Society. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
