With Christmas coming, and winter already with us, many of our friends at former Midland heritage railways are already offering special services, and even if you prefer to see the the lines in their original condition, perhaps you have children or grandchildren who would appreciate the added attractions. Back in March the new Society website posted details of Easter and Spring services, and we hope that you may find it helpful to have a reminder of the links to individual railway websites, to see whether there is also something of interest at this time of year. Offerings include Santa and Mince Pie Specials, carol singng or festive dining, but please check availability, trains run mostly on specific dates or days of the week, and they can be booked out at peak times.
