What looks to be a very interesting talk on the history of “Keguth Station” (or Kegworth to those of us not quite so local!) will be being given by one of our Members, James McKay, later in October.

James has been a frequent visitor to the Midland Railway Study Centre in the course of his research and has very kindly shared material he has discovered in other sources with us. We would be delighted to help spread the word about such an interesting subject in any case.

If you can make it, the talk is on Saturday 18th October at 7.30pm in the  Community Room of Kegworth Village Hall, Nottingham Rd, Kegworth DE74 2FH.  Tickets are £5.00, which includes tea, coffee & light refreshments. The event is in aid of  Kegworth Heritage Centre.  To get your tickets email  valyates1964@gmail.com
